Subject- Forensic Collision Investigation
Andy Evans works in the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit which is attached to Hampshire and Thames Valley Police forces.
The remit for his surprisingly small team is to attend serious (usually fatal) collisions within the police force areas, and gather all of the relevant facts and evidence surrounding the event to present back to the Police and Crown Prosectution Service.
This includes trying to work out from the wreckage point of impact, and the "Speed of entry" into the incident.
